Episode Guide for Smallville: First of all, may I just say: THANK GOD FOR FANFIC. Oy vey. Season 1: Where we meet the annoying Lana, the hypocritical Jonathan Kent (Oh, I miss the Jonathan Kent from Lois and Clark, sigh), the devil that is Lionel Luther, and the sexy yumminess that is Lex Luthor. IMHO, Jonathan and Lionel should be drop shipped to some desert island someplace so Lex and Clark can live happily ever after. And do remember that this is totally my opinion and absolutely reflects the opinions of the maker of this website, which is me. Having just sat down over the last two weeks and watched all the eps on the Season 1 DVD, I suggest you rush out to watch these episodes for EXCESSIVE Lex/Clark moments: 1. The Pilot: (yes, I know, you have to put up with all sorts of painful Lana moments as well; just fast forward through them. But this is where it all starts, where Clark and Lex meet, where their destinies collide. 2. Hug: I love this episode. It's my favorite so far. Lots of Lex/Clark. And this ep showed me the sexiness that is a BAD Lex Luthor. Wowzers. Plus, Clark is so handsome in this ep, he makes me swoon. I think it's the blue sweater. LOL. That's it for the season. I know, I know, only 2 eps, you ask, with a wailing and gnashing of teeth? Yes, only two. But, like I said on the What's the Fuss? page, every episode has Lex/Clark moments, but in most of the other episodes you'll need to fast forward through a lot of, you know, stuff that isn't Clark/Lex. Worth watching them, though, for the LOOKS these guys give each other. For those of you who have read more fanfic than seen episodes, these are the episodes where you meet characters/events that show up in fanfic all the time: Roger Nixon, reporter for the Inquisitor: X-Ray. He also shows up in Leech, Obscura, and then in Tempest (season finale), and in the first show of season 2. The X-Ray episode is also where we first get to see that you really don't want to mess with Lex. Cassandra and her visions: Hourglass (first time we see Lex in the Oval Office. In the episode Drone, fyi, Lex tells Clark he plans to be President) Sam Phelan, Metropolis ex-cop/detective: Rogue Lex's past and Club Zero: Zero (this is a great Lex episode, BTW) Dr. Steven Hamilton: Nicodemus (where we get to see just what a dick Jonathan Kent is and we get to see the moral ambiguity that is Lex) Ryan: Stray Pamela Jenkins: Crush Season 2: Stay tuned, haven't cracked open the DVD yet. I'm starting to watch it now!
